Frank Magarale, a current resident of the Platt Park area, always dreamed about taking the plunge and buying a Vespa of his very own. He was constantly taunted by those hip Vespa owners that never had to circle the block to find parking. The neighborhood had so much to offer and the thrill of accessing all the excitement with wind in his hair was almost too much to bear at times.
Luckily (thankfully) Frank entered to win a Vespa at one of McStain’s charity events this last August at the Discovery Center – and won!
Today Frank zips to his local coffee shop and squeezes into the perfect parking space right outside the front door. The convenience and economic aspect of his new prize make him grin, and it makes a simple errand seem…cool. |  |
