1. Applying for your mortgage
Your sales professional will provide a pre-qualification form that you will complete prior to buying your new McStain home.
2. Introduction call
You will receive a call from your Smart Mortgage consultant within 24 hours of submitting your pre-qualification form (Monday-Friday).
3. Quick credit approval
You will receive notification on the status of your credit approval within 48 hours (Monday-Friday) from your Smart Mortgage consultant.
4. Mortgage consultation
You will be invited to attend a free consultation with your Smart Mortgage consultant to discuss available mortgage options that ideally meet your needs.
5. Free 9-month rate lock
You will want to take advantage of this special offer which protects you from higher montly mortgage payments.
6. No surprises
You will receive a packet of information that will cover the type of financing you discussed with your Smart Mortgage consultant. This information will include a good faith estimate as well as a truth in lending statement.
7. Loan approval
You will receive a formal loan approval letter within 30 days of submitting your loan application, if you qualify.
8. Consistent communication
You will receive a phone call from your Smart Mortgage consultant once a month to discuss the status of your loan.
9. 45-day call
You will receive a phone call from your Smart Mortgage consultant 45 days prior to your closing date to finalize your loan program and confirm your interest rate.
10. Final details
In preparation of closing, you will receive an additional phone call from your Smart Mortgage consultant to reconfirm your sales price and mortgage details. Expect this call within 1-2 weeks of closing.
11. Smooth closing
