 A while back, we realized that building a better world is a goal that’s probably too big for us to take on by ourselves. We needed a way to identify and support non-profit organizations whose work aligns with our vision and philosophy. So the employees of McStain established The McStain Hoyt Foundation for Building a Better World. The foundation is named after McStain co-founders Tom and Caroline Hoyt, and it’s funded by yearly contributions taken from McStain profits. Some grant recipients are working directly to improve the environment through progressive use of land or other resources. Others are teaching the public about how to be better stewards of our little piece of the planet. But all of them inspire us to stick with our mission. It’s good to be working shoulder-to-shoulder. | |
